Bdp3000 Firmware Update

New here, but on your reputation i'm hoping people here can help. I put this on another forum, but didn't really get any response, hopefully someone here may be able to answer:
I'm just after others experiences with the upgrading. Got my player a month or so back, and very pleased with it.
But one odd thing i've had is the firmware upgrading. I did it once and (after a scary moment where it decided it needed unplugging twice before it would start) all worked fine.
Then a few weeks later I thought i'd just check again, and there was another update. That got me thinking and eventually I was there for at least 30 mins going through the procedure again and again. Reckon i've done it at least 7 times now, but every time it says there's upgrades available.
Just wondering if anyone knows how many it will need, or if it just says there's an update, but it's just the same one each time. The Philips site is useful, no clear info on driver/update history.
